TODAY: West Bridgford Joinery’s homeware sample sale at The Stalls Market

At the Stalls Market on Sunday 15 December on Central Avenue in West Bridgford. 

Local furniture workshop and design studio West Bridgford Joinery will be hosting a homeware sample sale at The Stalls Market today Sunday 15 December on Central Avenue in West Bridgford.

 

Ahead of West Bridgford Joinery relaunching its in-house design studio Tormar in spring summer 2025, the team will be selling an exclusive range of Tormar homeware. It also commemorates West Bridgford Joinery’s twentieth-year celebrations.

As well as chopping boards, pencil stores and desk tidies, WBJ will be selling a collection of its ‘Bridgford’ stools, handmade in Nottingham using solid European oak.

WBJ founder Alex has collaborated with three local designers to create an exclusive collection of decorated wooden stools. 

  • ‘The Window Woman’ Reggie Pugh, a local illustrator whose window designs can be seen across Nottingham. 
  • Hand-painted signwriter Matt Mitchell of Nottingham’s ‘Bravo Boards’ ● Furniture and product design student (and WBJ placement student) Tom Handley 

This sample sale offers local customers a chance to buy unique, locally crafted designs and celebrate two decades of West Bridgford Joinery’s creativity and craftsmanship.

Alex Adgar, West Bridgford Joinery founder, said: “Our team is made up of 19 talented craftspeople. They are true experts in their field, with some of them having over 40 years’ experience of working with wood. We work alongside interior designers and now have our own in-house design team, working closely with clients to create bespoke designs.”

West Bridgford Joinery designs and makes bespoke residential furniture as well as commercial architectural joinery.
