On the 24 and 25 January, NET will be carrying out some work between Wilford and Clifton.
Work is required to replace the track ballast at Wilford Lane. The track ballast was damaged and contaminated following the severe flooding in January 2024 and needs to be replaced.
Lines will need to be isolated on the 24 and 25 January so that the work at Wilford Lane can take place. During this time, NET will also be carrying out any necessary repair work on the Clifton Line.
There will be no service between Queen’s Walk and Clifton South next weekend – affecting trams in both directions.
Flooding January 2024
On Saturday and Sunday 24 and 25 January, NET will be carrying out maintenance between Wilford and Clifton.
Work is required to replace the track ballast (stones beneath the tracks) at Wilford Lane, which was damaged following the severe flooding in January 2024 and needs to be replaced.
