Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service released these images to warn motorists about the importance of wearing seatbelts.
A spokesperson said:
‘Yesterday afternoon we attended an incident on the A453 where a vehicle left the carriageway.
‘We worked with Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service, Your Local Air Ambulance WNDLR and East Midlands Ambulance Service to release one person who was trapped.
‘Two people were taken to hospital.

‘Incidents like this really do highlight how important it is to wear your seatbelt.
‘Make sure you always buckle up.’
