The A52 in Nottinghamshire is closed in both directions between the A6005 (Dunkirk) and the A6200 (Lenton) near Nottingham due to a collision.
Nottinghamshire Police are working on scene and are currently leading the response to the closure. Police investigations are currently taking place and the road is likely to remain closed for a further amount of hours.
Diversion Routes
Road users travelling eastbound are advised to follow the below diversion:
Leave the A52 eastbound at Priory roundabout and take the 3rd exit onto the A6464 southbound.
Follow the A6464 until the roundabout with the A6005 and take the 3rd exit to join the A6005.
Continue on the A6005 to rejoin the A52 eastbound by taking the 3rd exit at Dunkirk roundabout.
Road users travelling westbound are advised to follow the below diversion:
Leave the A52 westbound at Dunkirk roundabout and take the 1st exit onto the A6005 westbound.
Follow the A6005 to the roundabout with the A6464 and take the 2nd exit onto the A6464.
Continue on the A6464 back to the A52 westbound at Priory roundabout and take the 1st exit to rejoin the A52 westbound.

Road blocked and stationary traffic due to crash on A52 Clifton Boulevard both ways near Middleton Boulevard.
Nottinghamshire Police said at 10:37 am on Easter Sunday 31 March:
‘Please be advised Clifton Boulevard is currently closed in both directions near the QMC due to a serious road traffic collision.
‘The road is expected to be closed for some time. Diversions are in place.
‘Please avoid the area if you can.’
