Video shows River Trent levels rising after days of heavy rain

River levels at Trent Bridge continue to rise after Storm Henk this week.

The river has risen significantly since yesterday 2 January after hours of heavy and persistent rain settled across Nottinghamshire.

There are still a number of road closures in place, disruptions to bus and rail services, and dozens of flood alerts and warnings across the region.

A break in the weather for the next few days could relieve pressure on services.
