Police in Rushciffe say reacted to the incident on Saturday evening 28 January.
A spokesperson said:
‘West Bridgford Neighbourhood police officers are out on foot patrol in the Stanier Drive area of Edwalton this evening, after recent reports of a male with a torch suspected to be looking at sheds and outdoor storage units.
‘Great to see so many well-secured properties, security alarms and cameras.
‘From speaking to residents police are aware many are already keeping one another up to date via local community social media, thank you.
‘Please continue to report any suspicious activity at the time.’
