Updates: Water pressure could be affected by burst main, say Severn Trent

A burst water main which had closed part of the A52 at Wheatcroft may interrupt supply.

Severn Trent:

‘Our engineers are still working super hard to get your water flowing normally again, however the repairs are proving to be trickier than we first expected and we’re now aiming to have this resolved as soon as possible.

‘We really do apologise if you’re still experiencing any issues with your supply because of this, rest assured we’re committed to getting this resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible for you.’

Severn Trent: ‘Our teams are still on site working hard, committed to getting your supplies restored.

‘We just wanted to let you know that we’re still on track to complete the repairs by 8am and we’ll continue to post information when we have it to keep you fully informed.’

At 6:30 pm Severn Trent said:

‘We’re really sorry if you’re still experiencing issues with your water. We’d just like to let you know that we’re still on track to complete the repair work by 8pm.

‘The engineers are working extremely hard to get your supplies restored and we’ll continue to update.’

Severn Trent said:

‘We’re so sorry if you notice a slight dip in your water pressure in the NG11 area of Nottingham.

‘This is due to a burst water pipe. We have a team on site working on the repair and are confident and committed to getting the repair completed as soon as possible.

‘With the support of the local council, we’ve put traffic management measures in place to keep everyone safe.

‘We’ll keep you fully updated on this page with any further information. We really appreciate your patience and understanding whilst we work to get this resolved.’
