Severn Trent has updated us but are still en route to the damaged pipe.
Severn Trent told The Wire:
“We’ve just been made aware of third-party damage to one of our larger pipes in Nottingham, which is affecting the water supply for some of our customers.
“Our teams are on their way to investigate the extent of the damage, and working hard to try and restore water supplies as soon as possible.”
Water supplies were cut to hundreds of homes and businesses in the Edwalton, West Bridgford and Clifton areas ( NG2 NG11 NG12 ) at approximately 2 pm on Friday 14 August.
