West Bridgford-based Manning Women’s Hockey Club is looking for new players for the forthcoming 2025/2026 season, starting in September.
Based at the Becket School in West Bridgford, the club has a proud heritage dating
back to 1932.
It is one of the few remaining single-team clubs in Nottinghamshire
and has consistently been one of the highest-ranking for many years.
Former winners of the Nottinghamshire County Cup, the club plays in Division 4
(North East) of the Midland’s Women’s League.
As a small and friendly club, there’s a collective determination on being competitive,
but an even greater focus on having a good time together. All newcomers are made
to feel very welcome.
Further to a few relocations and retirements, the club needs new players to have a
strong squad for next season. Whether someone hasn’t picked up a stick for some
time but wanting to get back into hockey or whether they’re looking for a new club
and fresh start, Manning would love to hear from them.
