A woman has been arrested after reports of a number of burglaries in the city.
Officers were called to multiple reports of parcels being stolen over a two-week period.
After carrying out extensive CCTV enquiries, police were able to connect several burglaries from across Nottingham city centre.
These took place in Thurland Street, on 14 March 2022, Queen’s Road, on 18 and 19 March, both Clare Street and Crocus Street, on 21 March, Belward Street, on 23 March, and Hounds Gate, on both 23 March and 9 April.
A 30-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of burglary on Thursday (28 April 2022).
She remains in custody as enquires continue.
Detective Sergeant Emma Pollard, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We know that burglary and theft can have a detrimental impact on people, families and businesses and that people work hard to buy things so we will always thoroughly investigate and ensure people who target victims are brought to justice.
“This is a great example of Nottinghamshire Police officers not giving up and doing everything they can as a team to arrest a person in connection with an incident.
“Our enquiries are continuing and even though we have now made an arrest in relation to these incidents we would still ask anyone with any information or who saw anything suspicious in those areas to get in touch with us.”
Anyone with any information is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 327 of 22 March 2022 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
