Woman pedestrian left with fractured spine after pedestrian crossing collision in Nottingham

A woman was left with a fractured spine and a broken arm after she was knocked down at a pedestrian crossing in Nottingham

Emergency services were called to Western Boulevard, Nottingham, after the collision shortly before midday on Thursday 26 January.

The woman was on a pedestrian crossing near The Crown pub at the time of the incident.

Officers investigating what happened would like to speak with any witnesses who have yet to come forward, and anyone who may have dashcam footage from the area at around the time of the collision.

PC Adam Daft, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “The victim in this incident suffered some very serious injuries and we would like to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened, or who saw anything of concern in the moments before the collision.

“We would particularly like to speak to anyone with dashcam footage recorded in the area in he moments before, during and after the incident.”

Anyone with information should call 101 quoting incident 266 of 26 January 2023.
