Woman wanted in connection with public order offences in Nottingham

A woman has then also attempted to attack another woman and made a racist remark to her.

Officers are appealing for information and witnesses after reports of two public order offences.

The first incident happened at Tesco Express on Hucknall Road on 8 June 2020 at 12.30pm where a woman has entered the store and after being told about social distancing, she became abusive towards staff.

The second incident happened at Sainsbury’s in Castle Bridge Road on 10 June at around 9.50 am where a woman was abusive to staff and then assaulted security.

A woman has then also attempted to attack another woman and made a racist remark to her.

Police Constable Aaron Harthill-Harrison is leading the investigation. He said: “The force takes public order offences like this very seriously. The words she said has led to distress for the victim and were totally out of order and unacceptable.

“Do you recognise this woman pictured? We’d like to speak to her in connection with both incidents.

“If you saw either incident, was in the store or nearby to the supermarkets and saw the woman please get in touch.

“If you recognise the woman please call 101, quoting incident number 300 of 8 June 2020.”
