Nottingham University Hospitals announced the news this afternoon – Monday 27 April.
Dr Keith Girling, Medical Director at Nottingham University Hospitals said: “Sadly we can confirm that a further four patients have died having tested positive for COVID-19.
“Regrettably that means that 182 COVID-19 positive patients we were caring for have sadly died since the beginning of March.”
“The patients were aged between 76 and 84, and died on the 25th and 26th of April.”
“The families have been informed and our thoughts and condolences are with them at this difficult and distressing time.”
