A police cordon was lifted in Hucknall after a suspicious object found in a park was safely removed.
Officers were called to Merlin Park on Airfield Way at 6 pm on 27 March following reports of the object, prompting a cordon to be put in place while the incident was assessed.
Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) engineers attended the scene and removed the item from the area.
Police later confirmed the cordon had been lifted and thanked the public for their patience while the incident was dealt with.
