Several roads in and around the Old Market Square will be closed on Tuesday 26th May 2026, between 13:30 and 17:00, whilst Notts County Celebrations take place after their promotion to the First Division.
Our buses won’t be able to serve stops on King Street, Queen Street, Angel Row and Beastmarket Hill.
The following lines are affected: Navy, Green, Lilac, Orange, Blue, Red, Sky Blue and Pathfinder 90.
Navy 1/A, 3/A, 48/X will start and finish on Maid Marian Way, outside Nottingham Lighting Centre, stop M2.
Navy 4 will follow their normal route to The Elite, then continue along Upper Parliament Street and turn left on to Maid Marian Way to resume normal route towards the Railway Station. The nearest alternative stop for Mount Street is on Maid Marian Way, stop M2.
Green 5/A, 6, 7, 8, 9/B, 10/C, 11/B/C will follow their normal route to The Elite, then continue along Upper Parliament Street and turn left on to Maid Marian Way to resume normal route towards the Railway Station. The nearest alternative stop for Angel Row is on Maid Marian Way, stop M1.
Lilac 24, 25/B, 26, 27 will follow their normal route to The Palais, where they will terminate at stop H3. Buses to Carlton will pick up from King Edward Street, opposite The Palais at stop H4.
Orange 34, 35/B, 36 will follow their normal route to The Elite, then continue along Upper Parliament Street and turn right on to Derby Road to resume normal route towards QMC. The nearest alternative stop for Angel Row is on Upper Parliament Street, stop U4.
Blue 39, 40/B/X, 41, 42 will follow their normal route to The Palais, where they will terminate at stop H3. Buses to Carlton Valley or St Ann’s will pick up from King Edward Street, opposite The Palais at stop H4.
Red 43, 44/A will follow their normal route to The Palais, where they will terminate at stop H3. Buses to Bakersfield and Gedling will pick up from King Edward Street, opposite The Palais at stop H4.
Red 45 will follow their normal route to The Elite, then continue along Upper Parliament Street and turn left on to Maid Marian Way to resume normal route towards the Railway Station. The nearest alternative stop for Angel Row is on Maid Marian Way, stop M3.
Navy 49/B will follow their normal route to The Elite, then continue along Upper Parliament Street and turn left on to Maid Marian Way to resume normal route towards the Railway Station. The nearest alternative stop for Angel Row is on Maid Marian Way, stop M2.
Sky Blue 60 will follow their normal route to Victoria Centre, then divert to terminate on Burton Street, alongside The Cornerhouse, at stop T8. Buses to Gedling will start from Burton Street.
Pathfinder 90 will start and finish on Maid Marian Way, outside Nottingham Lighting Centre, stop M2.
