A man is being treated in hospital after an assault in Hucknall.
The victim, a man in his thirties, was found injured in Nabbs Lane shortly before 1am.
It is believed he was assaulted during an earlier altercation at a roundabout on Watnall Road before driving to Nabbs Lane.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering.
Police said:
‘We are working to understand what happened and have appealed to anyone who witnessed a confrontation between two vehicles in the Lovesey Lane/Watnall Road area.’
Detective Inspector Vincent Clark said: “This was a serious assault that left the victim requiring emergency medical treatment.
“As we work to understand the sequence of events before he was found injured, we’d like to hear from anyone who saw or heard an altercation at the roundabout at the end of Lovesey Avenue.”
