The A52 in Nottinghamshire is closed in both directions between the A6011 Gamston and the A46 Saxondale after a serious collision.
Diversion Details
Eastbound traffic is being diverted via the following route:
- Exit the A52 Gamston Island and take the exit onto the A6011 towards Nottingham.
- Follow the A6011 for approx. 2.8km and at the signalised junction just past Lady Bay Bridge, turn right onto Meadow Lane.
- As the next roundabout, take the second exit onto the A612 and follow for approx. 11.5km until the roundabout in the village of Lowdham.
- Take the last exit onto the A6097 and continue until the roundabout with the A46.
- Take the A46 southbound to rejoin the eastbound A52 at Saxondale Island.
Westbound traffic is being diverted via the following route:
- Exit the A46 westbound at the A46 Saxondale roundabout
- Turn right and join the A46 northbound
- At the next roundabout take the 1st exit and join the A6097 and continue until the village of Lowdham
- At the roundabout, with the A612, turn left and follow the road towards Nottingham
- At the A612/A6011 roundabout take the 1st exit and join the A6011
- Turn left onto Lady Bay Bridge and continue onward to then re-join the A52 westbound
