Nottinghamshire Police is appealing for information and witnesses after a four people wearing balaclavas broke into a Post Office on Monday night.
Officers were called to High Street in Warsop at around 12.15am on Tuesday 28 July after reports of a burglary.
It is thought that the group travelled to the Post Office in a small black car before breaking the glass of the front door and entering the building.
Nothing is thought to have been taken in the incident and it is thought that the group left in the same car.
Inspector Kylie Davies, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We are exploring a number of lines of enquiry in connection with the break in but we are now appealing for anyone with any information to get in touch with us as soon possible.
“Burglary can have a devastating impact on businesses and we will do everything we can to find who is responsible for this.”
