‘My daughter was walking with friends towards Melton Road.

She stopped to look back for her friend – and was next to the car – it then proceeded to drive over her foot and ankle as it pulled away.

‘The car then left the scene without stopping to check even though the driver in my opinion was seen to look at my daughter but did nothing.’

‘She has sustained a double fracture of the leg and we are now trying to gather evidence for the police to investigate.

If anyone has any dashcam footage or further information contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101 using incident 563 of 23 March.
