A suspect has been arrested after a taxi driver’s tyres were reportedly slashed after a disagreement.

Officers were called to Waterloo Crescent, near Forest Recreation Ground, Nottingham, following the incident at around 8.20am this morning (Thursday).

It was reported the tyres were slashed with a bladed weapon and so armed officers were deployed.

A 22-year-old man was arrested a short time later after a vehicle was stopped in Mansfield Road, in Nottingham city centre.
