Police officers from Rushcliffe South Neighbourhood Policing Team conducted proactive patrols on Friday and Saturday.
Police said:
‘On Friday night 16 December a male was arrested for drug driving and possession with intent to supply Class B controlled drugs, the suspect was found in possession of a substantial quantity of cannabis and failed a roadside drug wipe.
‘Officers also stopped two vehicles on Friday evening, one in East Leake and one at Holme Pierrepont, occupants of both vehicles were found to be in possession of Class A and Class B controlled drugs.

‘In the early hours of Saturday 17 December a male was arrested by response officers for drink driving after failing a roadside test – the male was later charged after providing an evidential breath test over the prescribed limit whilst in custody.
‘Later on Saturday, a stolen vehicle in East Leake was recovered by Rushcliffe South NPT officers with an investigation to be continued by Leicestershire Police with the vehicle being reported stolen last Sunday from Leicestershire.
‘Rushcliffe South NPT officers also issued a ticket to a male in Radcliffe on Trent when found to be driving with no insurance.’
