Rushcliffe Borough Council’s Contact Points in East Leake and Cotgrave are set to close from Wednesday, March 18 as a precautionary measure to help the authority’s partners and colleagues manage the spread of Coronavirus.
The authority is reassuring residents that the policy is to limit footfall to the centres at East Leake Medical Centre and Cotgrave Hub respectively, which both share a communal space with fellow agencies.
West Bridgford’s Customer Service Centre on Gordon Road in the town is now appointment only from the same date.
Residents can still get in touch with the Council’s Customer Services team by calling 0115 981 9911 emailing customerservices@rushcliffe.gov.uk or visiting the website at www.rushcliffe.gov.uk.
The outlets will remain with these arrangements until further notice and guidance is released by local NHS partners and Central Government.
The news follows an announcement last week that Bingham’s Contact Point would also be closed until further notice.
