Fight outside Nottingham pub leaves two in hospital

Police investigating a fight that left two men in hospital have appealed for witnesses to come forward.

Officers were called to a disturbance outside the Horse and Groom pub in Radford Road, Nottingham, shortly after 4am this morning (Sunday).

Two men were later treated in hospital for injuries sustained in the incident.

None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening or life altering.

Three men, aged 37, 35, and 31, were arrested on suspicion of affray. A 20-year-old woman was also detained on suspicion of the same offence.

Detective Inspector Ashley Xavier, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a particularly chaotic scene and response officers did a great job to calm things down and identify suspects.

“We are now working to understand exactly what happened and have already reviewed a considerable amount of evidence.

“We would also like to speak to any additional witnesses who have not yet come forward – particularly those who may have recorded video footage of events before our officers arrived.”
