Walkden Street car park in Mansfield is closed for the time being.
Mansfield District Council said on Saturday 30 August:
‘The area around Walkden Street Car Park, Stockwell Gate North is closed off whilst inspections and damage limitation takes place following structural damage to the car park.
‘We ask for the public to avoid the area and follow any diversions in place.’
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said:

‘We are on scene to assist our council colleagues in Mansfield. Please avoid the area whilst we work together to resolve the issue.’
