Officers from Rushcliffe Neighbourhood Policing Teams at Cotgrave station carried out patrols in the villages.
A spokesperson said:
‘PC Pooley and PC Russell from the Rushcliffe Neighbourhood Policing team based at Cotgrave, were out on evening shifts over the weekend and Monday night on their beat areas.
‘This was in response to anti-social behaviour and criminal damage in some of the villages as well as thefts and attempt thefts in Bingham and Elton on the Hill.
‘During their patrols in Cropwell Bishop they seized a prohibited knuckle duster among other items.
‘They have carried out a number of stop searches seizing controlled substances and weapons, the process of these suspected offences is ongoing. There have been a number of intelligence leads to follow which will provide further information for future enforcement work including targeted activity towards individuals and vehicles as well as search warrants for premises.’
