Officers are trying to track down this man for a series of business burglaries across Nottingham and Gedling.
Multiple restaurants, takeaways and other businesses have been broken into and had items stolen since the start of July.
Several shops in Mapperley, Sherwood and Carrington reported break-ins – with similar tactics used by the intruder in most cases.
Each offence happened late at night or in the early hours, with glass windows often smashed to gain access before cash was then stolen from within.
Bottles of alcohol and electrical items were also stolen during some of the incidents, with a man wearing a hat and a face covering identified as a suspect from available CCTV.
An investigation is currently underway into each break-in, with police now able to release multiple images from the various scenes that they strongly believe show the same suspect.
Officers are appealing for anyone who recognises him to come forward, while they’ve also shared advice for businesses to help prevent burglars from successfully targeting their properties.
Inspector Steve King, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“As you’d imagine, the victims of these break-ins are extremely upset by what happened, so we’re determined to find whoever was responsible.
“On that note, we can now release these images, which we believe all show the same man, who we suspect to be the person behind this burglary series.
“We’d ask therefore that anyone who sees these pictures and thinks they might know who is in them please shares this information with us so that we can take immediate action.
“Visible and plain clothed patrols have been stepped up in the areas affected since the break-ins happened, while our officers have been visiting local businesses to advise them on security measures.
“In terms of the individual incidents, we did find that a lot of them shared similarities, with each offence taking place in the middle of the night and cash often being the prime target.
“Burglars often rely on opportunities presenting themselves, so there are a number of things businesses can do to make things difficult for these offenders to operate and to help us catch them.
“In addition to locking all windows and doors, businesses should also regularly check their CCTV and alarms are working, while we’d advise that cash not be left inside overnight, whether in a safe or otherwise.
