Now in its 5th year, the Lady Bay Safari Sale looks set to be another great day out for all!
Having very quickly established itself in the calendar of many, this fantastic community sale sees the streets of Lady Bay thronged with shoppers, browsers and lots of friendly folk looking to uncover treasures to take home.
Printing sustainability and the reusing and recycling of items, it brings together a community of zero wasters and environmentally conscious – as well as those who love a bargain!
Sellers make use of their front gardens, driveways and surrounding spaces to set up stalls and sell their wares; homemade, preloved or new, all needing a new home – there’s always bargains to be found.
Last year more than 100 households took part, selling cakes, clothing, plants and furniture, jewellery and collectables and everything in between.
There were house clearances, down sizers, and charitable fundraisers.
The Safari Sale team hope to save as many items as possible from languishing unused in lofts, garages, under beds and in cellars or from being thrown away.
Registration for stallholders (Lady Bay residents, or those able to secure a private space to trade from) is now open. Please visit https://tinyurl.com/ladybaysafarisale2022 to register, once your stall fee has been processed you will receive a sellers pack containing all the info you need.
The sale runs from 11am to 4pm on Sunday 12th June, maps/stall lists for visitors and shoppers will be available online a few days beforehand.
The event is organised by the volunteers of the Lady Bay Primary School PTA, raising vital funds for the school and continuing the unique Lady Bay community spirit.
