Leake Road to close for a week for resurfacing works

Leake Road – between Gotham and East Leake – will be closed by Nottinghamshire County Council for resurfacing works between Monday 22nd and Friday 26th November 2021.

Delays are expected on South Notts 1 buses throughout the week because of the longer diversion route in use.

NCT Easyrider Further, day return and Network Rider tickets will be accepted on Kinch 9 buses between Nottingham and Loughborough.

South Notts Buses Diverted

South Notts 1 buses will divert in both directions and will not be able to serve Gotham. A daytime shuttle bus will be provided for Gotham to Clifton Pastures to connect with other services.

Buses to East Leake and Loughborough will follow their normal route to Clifton Lane, The Dip then divert via Farnborough Road, through Clifton, Ruddington, the A60, Bradmore, Bunny, right Gotham Lane and Bunny Lane to resume normal route at Gotham Road into East Leake.

Buses will not stop on the diversion route, except for the first stop on Farnborough Road, named Bransdale Road, which will be a replacement stop for Clifton Pastures.

Buses to Nottingham will follow normal route to East Leake / Rushcliffe Halt then continue Gotham Road, right Bunny Lane, A60, Bunny, Bradmore, Ruddington, Farnborough Road in Clifton to resume normal route from Clifton Pastures to Nottingham.

Buses will not stop on the diversion route, except for the last stop on Farnborough Road, named Bransdale Road, which can be used to interchange with the shuttle bus to Gotham. 

Shuttle Bus for Gotham

A free daytime shuttle bus will operate between Gotham and Clifton Pastures, funded by Nottinghamshire County Council, to provide connections to NCT services.
