Three lanes (of 4) remain closed on the M1 northbound between J25 Stapleford and J26 Nuthall for emergency resurfacing following a significant lorry fire last night.
Delays of up to 90 minutes and approx 8 miles congestion reported on approach are reported on approach.

Due to emergency re-surfacing works, 3 (of 4) lanes will remain closed on the M1 northbound in Nottinghamshire between J25 Stapleford and J26 Nuthall
The closure is necessary to allow the newly laid tarmac to set properly.
Delays are in excess of 20 minutes.

Two lanes closed and very slow traffic due to emergency resurfacing repairs on M1 Northbound from J25 A52 Brian Clough Way (Nottingham / Derby) to J26 A610 (Nottingham / Eastwood). Lanes one and two remain closed following a vehicle fire yesterday 29/04.

Two lanes (of 4) remain closed on the #M1 northbound in Nottinghamshire between J25 (Stapleford) and J26 (Nottingham) following an earlier lorry fire.
A complex recovery operation will be ongoing throughout the evening.
There’s a 40 minute delay on approach. Allow extra time.

‘Traffic has been STOPPED on the M1 northbound in Nottinghamshire between J25 (Stapleford) and J26 (Nottingham) due to a lorry fire.
‘Emergency services are in attendance.
‘There’s a 45 minute delay on approach. Please allow extra journey time.’

All lanes stopped and stationary traffic due to vehicle fire on M1 Northbound at (Trowell Services). At around 16:30 all traffic was held. Trowell Services is located between J25 (Nottingham / Derby / East Midlands Airport) and J26 (Nottingham / Eastwood).
