Live updates: Meadow Lane – lane closed after reports of a stabbing

Police and emergency services are at the scene of a serious incident in Meadow Lane.


9 am There is some traffic build up because of the lane closure – but you can get past the scene.

The road is still closed according to traffic report sites – no official updates from police.

Nottinghamshire Police said at 8:15 pm on Wednesday 31 January:

‘We are currently at the scene of a serious incident in Meadow Lane.

‘Officers were called at 6.25pm tonight (Wednesday 31 January) to reports of a stabbing.

‘Meadow Lane, next to Lady Bay Bridge is currently closed so please avoid the area.’


AA Roadwatch:

‘Queueing traffic due to obstruction on the road on A6011 Meadow Lane both ways between A612 Manvers Street and Lady Bay Bridge. Congestion to Radcliffe Road for traffic from West Bridgford on Lady Bay Bridge.’
