‘The M1 northbound at J30 (Barlborough) to J31 is currently CLOSED due to a serious collision. Traffic Officers and emergency services are at the scene.Â

AA Roadwatch said:
‘Queueing traffic on M1 Southbound from J31 A57 Worksop Road (Sheffield / Worksop) to J30 A616 (Worksop / Sheffield South). Travel time is 25 minutes. These delays are following the brief closure for the current problem on the northbound side.
‘Road closed and queueing traffic due to accident on M1 Northbound from J30 A616 (Worksop / Sheffield South) to J31 A57 Worksop Road (Sheffield / Worksop). Air ambulance is on scene.’
