A suspect was arrested minutes after a man is said to have exposed himself in front of children.
Officers were called shortly after 9am on Sunday (3 April) by a woman attending a Fun Run at Forest Recreation Ground in Nottingham.
A 20-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of indecent exposure and taken into custody for questioning.
Inspector Paul Ferguson of the City Central neighbourhood policing team, said: “This was an upsetting incident for those who witnessed it and Response officers did well to quickly detain a suspect.
“Although we have made an arrest, we are keen to trace witnesses and I would ask anyone who saw the incident to contact us as soon as possible.
“Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 163 of 3 April 2022.”
