Victoria Centre is excited to announce the return of Nordic Brights, marking its second annual event. From 20 December to 5 January, visitors can enjoy the magic of a wintry alpine forest Northern Lights simulation for free!
Take a trip to the wonderful world of an Arctic woodland landscape to experience a magical journey with the smells and sounds of a Nordic adventure, plus a new ‘ice tunnel’ experience. To begin the journey, a Nordic character will greet guests and invite them to ‘Spin the Wheel’ to be assigned a special explorer name before embarking on their quest to find six hidden Nordic animals.
Adding to the magical 20-minute immersive trail experience, there is a full-size sleigh for a fun photo opportunity and an activity table where children can make reindeer food to take home. Families can also take part in a snowball challenge and meet a friendly polar bear, marking the end of the mesmerising experience.
Nordic Brights is a completely free experience to book, but donations are welcome for Nottinghamshire Hospice.
Nigel Wheatley, Centre Director at Victoria Centre, commented:
“Following the success of Nordic Brights last year, we’re excited to see it return to Victoria Centre this Christmas – but with even more activities!
“This enchanting experience adds to the buzzing atmosphere in the centre during the festive period, and we are confident it will be a success with local families again this year. Whilst the event is free of charge, we encourage visitors to embrace the season of giving and donate in support of Nottinghamshire Hospice.”
