Nottinghamshire Platinum Jubilee: Events in Mansfield – Mansfield District Council are organising an event at Berry Hill Park on the 3 June – Jubilee Proms and a Picnic in the Park. A free event, with a brass band performance, entertainment, food, and hopefully sunshine!

| Tuesday 31 May | Jubilee themed craft sessions | Get crafty for the queen and help us commemorate her Platinum (70 year) Jubilee at Mansfield Museum during the school holidays. Make, cut out and then piece back together your very own Jubilee jigsaw, free, from 10am to 12pm. | Mansfield Museum | Cultural Services |

| Thursday 2 June | Picnic in the Park event | Attendees are invited to bring their own picnic and join with us for an afternoon of entertainment provided by popular Mansfield based duo ‘The Moonshiners’ as they play a medley of toe tapping tunes. | Friday 3 June | Jubilee proms and picnic in the park | Join us from 11am to 4pm for an afternoon of live music, Punch and Judy shows, 50s style dancers, and traditional children’s games plus food vendors and walkabout entertainment too.
