Nottinghamshire Police and Crime Commissioner election – tomorrow

Tomorrow, everyone in Nottingham who is registered to vote can choose the person they want to become Nottinghamshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner.

It’s an important role, overseeing both our police and fire service. You can see who the candidates are here.

Polling stations are open 7am – 10pm, and our elections team will be working hard to make sure everyone can cast their vote safely. Please help us by bringing your mask and your own pen or pencil, and sanitising your hands when you enter. You don’t need to bring your poll card with you.

If you opted for a postal vote for tomorrow’s election but have missed the last post it’s not too late, you can hand it in at your polling station instead.

Some people may find they are unable to vote on the day as they have been told to self-isolate suddenly or have symptoms of Covid-19. If you experience this you can apply for an emergency proxy vote.
