1 Central Avenue, currently Oliver Bonas, is for sale.
The store was built as a new retail unit next to the Croquet Lawn in 2016 and has only been occupied by Oliver Bonas, whose arrival in West Bridgford was welcomed by residents and visitors alike.
Now, after plans revealed by The Wire at the weekend show the retailer has submitted proposals to Rushcliffe Borough Council for a change of use for the former HSBC bank next to Wagamama in Central Avenue, the current store has been put on the market.
At a lease price of £60,000 per annum – Colliers are marketing the building:
Particulars state:
‘1 Central Avenue occupies a unique position on Central Square in West Bridgford, adjacent to the rear entrance to M+S Simply Food and fronting the main car park for the town centre.
‘Other nearby occupiers include Halifax, Boots, Waterstones and Wagamama.
The premises are arranged over the ground and first floor, with an additional roof terrace and are available by way of assignment of the existing lease. Proposals to sublet will be considered.’
