Police investigating an assault in Mansfield have released images of two men they would like to speak with.
Emergency services were called to Newgate Lane shortly before 10pm on Saturday 4 April after a man in his 60s was knocked unconscious.
Officers would like to speak with the two men pictured in these images and believe they have information vital to their investigation.
PC Harry Stevenson said:
“Thankfully the victim in this case was not seriously injured, but things could very easily have turned out differently as a result of the violence he was subjected to.
“We believe these two men have vital information and have now exhausted other opportunities to track them down, which is why we are now issuing this public appeal.
“If you are one of these men, or you know who they are, please contact us immediately.”
