Plant Fair returns to Holme Pierrepont Hall for Mother’s Day

A popular specialist plant fair will be returning to Holme Pierrepont Hall next weekend, selling plants from small and specialist local plant growers from across the region.

Open Sunday 27 March – 11am to 4pm

 

The event, organized by Flower Power Fairs, showcases a selection of top local nurseries, including RHS and big flower show attendees who will be selling unusual plants at affordable prices.

Stallholders are typically privately owned, independent nurseries which grow and propagate from seeds before selling as plants at the fair.

Stallholders include:

  • Hillview Hardy Plants – who specialize in Auriculas and cottage garden plants,
  • Hoyland Plant Centre – for Agapanthus, Tulbaghii, Dierama, Amarine and Nerines,
  • Morton Nurseries  – for unusual shrubs and small ornamental trees,
  • Roanne Nurseries  – for herbaceous garden favourites,
  • Primrose Bank Nursery – for hardy perennials,
  • D K Plants – for unusual and rare perennials,
  • Linda Scott Hardy Plants – with an amazing collection of hardy Geraniums, 
  • Stannards Plants – for erns, grasses, Hostas and Heucheras, 
  • Giddy Kippers – for perennials and British cut flowers and vegetables, 
  • Bright & Beautiful – for herbaceous favourites, 
  • Driftwood Bonsai
  • Ruth and Bryan Hall – with alpines and indoor plants and succulents, 
  • Plantazia Lincoln – for herbaceous perennials, 
  • The Herb Nursery – for culinary and medicinal herbs, cottage garden plants and Pelargoniums, 
  • Kevin Foster’s Exotics & Cacti, 
  • Prized Perennials (formerly Hempholme Plants) – for Bearded Iris, Penstemon, Phlox and, Hebe plants.

Alfresco Design garden accessories will also be joining the fair with a fabulous collection of garden plant supports in rustic metal along with garden sculptures and pots.

Visitors should be advised that whilst many stallholders accept card payments, they will need cash to purchase from some smaller nurseries. The organisers also ask visitors to bring their own bags to help reduce plastic waste.

FREE parking and take away refreshments will be available and well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.

 

Tickets are available to purchase on the gate or in advance from www.holmepierreponthall.com  and include entry to Holme Pierrepont Hall’s Grade II listed Courtyard Garden, grounds and woodland.

 

Tickets: Adults £5.00.  Children under 16 enter FREE.
