Police made four arrests after suspected drug dealers turned up unwittingly at a front door while officers were inside.
Officers attended the address in Kildare Road, St Ann’s, Nottingham, on other matters around 6.10 p.m. on Tuesday (27 January).
They were allowed inside the address by a man whose phone then rang.
The caller announced he was outside the front door and had come to collect some drugs.
Officers from the Priority Tasking Team recovered a large bag of cannabis from under a bed and arrested the occupant of the property.
Other members of the team went outside and detained two other men and a woman.
During searches, officers later also seized an e-bike, smaller quantities of Class A drugs, equipment associated with drug dealing, and a knuckle-duster.

Men aged 21 and 22, as well as a 21-year-old woman, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class B drugs.
The woman was further arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.
A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs, possession of Class A drugs, and possession of criminal property.

Sergeant Jono Pothecary, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“We are always alert to drug activity when carrying out other enquiries, and we know tackling dealers is a priority in the City South neighbourhood.
“We believe these suspects arrived to resupply when we were inside the property making enquiries.
“It may have been an unpleasant shock when we answered the door.”
