An investigation into the death of a man in Mansfield is continuing.
Paramedics were called to a flat in Mappleton Drive on Tuesday evening (16 December) where a man was found injured after a serious assault.
Despite their best efforts the victim – who can now be named as Anthony Beardsley – died a short time later.

Three other men aged 20, 20, and 22, who were previously arrested on suspicion of murder have also been released on police bail with strict conditions.
Any witnesses are encouraged to come forward with any information they may have.
Detective Inspector Clare Gibson, who is overseeing the investigation, said:
“Our sympathies remain with Tony’s family and our specially trained officers will continue to support them.
“While our investigation is progressing, we are still urging anyone with information – no matter how insignificant it may seem – to get in touch with us without delay.”
