The move is to help crews avoid very hot weather.
Rushclliffe Borough Council said:
‘Have you got your bin collections between Tuesday July 28 and Friday July 31?
‘Due to this week’s heatwave warning, all of our waste crews will be starting an hour earlier at 6am rather than 7am. Therefore please place your bin on the edge of your property ahead of this time.
‘This is so they can reduce their working during the warmest parts of the day. Thank you again for helping to support our teams working in the warmer conditions this week.’
