In A fiendish display of trickery, Nottingham Express Transit (NET) tram stops have been bewitched with a spooky name change.
Revealed on 25th October, 30 tram stops including The Forest, Old Market Square and Nottingham High School have become the victim of a scary prank, which will last until 6th November.
The Forest tram stop has been transformed into The Frightful Forest, with regular reports of spooky characters lurking in the area. Other eerie destinations tram users might spot this month include Nottingham High Ghoul, NG Boo and Old Market Scare.
Those that notice something different when travelling along their usual route are encouraged to share a photograph on social media, tagging #tramortreat to be in with the chance of winning a one-month tram pass.
Andrew Conroy, chief operating officer at Tramlink said: “After transforming 17 of our tram stop names last Halloween, the pranksters are back and this time they’ve cast their spell on even more of our stops across the city – just in time for the half term.
“Those that enjoyed our creepy creations last year should keep a look out for any new names they can spot this Halloween.
“There’s plenty to see and do across Nottingham during this spooky season. Whether shopping for costumes, visiting family or just exploring the city, we’re sure this trick will make days out in the region even more fun.
“I’m looking forward to seeing which stops the people of Nottingham share online and seeing who manages to spot all 30.”
