Emergency services are carrying out a river search.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue said: “We were called to Lady Bay Bridge to reports of a male in the river at 10.07 today (October 4). Crews from London Road, Highfields, Carlton, West Bridgford, Stapleford and Newark were in attendance.
‘Also in attendance were the joint drone, Police and EMAS.”
The search area then widened to the river near Racecourse Road Colwick.

Chief Inspector Rob Shields of Notts Police said:
‘This is an ongoing incident and I would encourage the public to avoid the area while emergency services carry out their work to trace the person.”’
