“It’s a great initiative for anyone to get involved in, try something new, socialise and boost their health and wellbeing through the 10 activities which range from free walks, meet ups, conservation work, arts and crafts and more!

“A big thank you to our officers, the Rushcliffe Primary Care Network and all the partners involved in delivering the challenge!”

Social Prescribing Team Leader Morgan Sharpe added: “Our first challenge saw over 15 residents complete all the activities and receive a free tote bag!

“There was great feedback from the challenge and the participants noticed the benefits of engaging with regular activities, meeting people and getting out and about.

“This spring we’ve added an additional activity and are pleased to welcome aboard East Leake Community Crafting, for anyone who enjoys a variety of crafts!

“There’s one month to go so why not take part in the Spring Forward Challenge and see the positive impact it can make.”

The challenge is flexible, and participants can complete the activities at their own paces ahead of the end of May deadline. For more information, please visit https://www.rushcliffehealth.org/wellbeing-challenge
