Two men have been charged with kidnap, false imprisonment, robbery and assault in connection with reported incidents in Kirkby-in-Ashfield and Mansfield.
Michael Cash, 26, of Banks Avenue, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, is charged with kidnap, false imprisonment, robbery, assault by beating, possession of a knife in a public place, dangerous driving and driving without insurance.
Kieran Bonser, 23, of Marlborough Road, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, is charged with kidnap, false imprisonment, robbery and assault by beating.
The charges relate to the alleged kidnap of two men in Mansfield, on 8 March 2020, and a man allegedly being held against his will and being assaulted at an address in Kirkby-in-Ashfield between 21 and 28 April 2020.
Both men are due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court today (Monday 4 May 2020).
