The A38 in Derbyshire is closed Southbound between the A516 (near Derby) and the A50 (Toyota) following a serious collision between a car and a motorcycle.
8 pm Road reopened
Derbyshire Police are leading the response, supported by National Highways Traffic Officers managing traffic at the scene.
Early reports from Police suggest this will be closed throughout the afternoon.
Diversion Routes
Road users are advised to follow the Solid Diamond diversion symbol on road signs
- Exit the A38 onto the A516
- Continue south on the A516 for approximately 4 miles.
- At the roundabout with the A50 take the first exit to join the A50 eastbound
- Continue for 2.3 miles where you can rejoin the A38 southbound at the Toyota Island.
