When will we know the results of the Nottinghamshire Local Elections 2023?

The county goes to the polls today 4 May to decide who will run our district, borough and city councils. Polling Stations open at 7 am and close at 10 pm.

Ashfield District Council is planning to count votes overnight on 4 May after polling closes at 10 pm – results could be in between 2 am and 5 am on Friday 6 May.

Bassetlaw District Council is also counting overnight and results could be in between 1:30 am and 5 am.

All other councils will start counts at 10 am on Friday 6 May, authorities counting on Friday are due to begin vote verification at 10am and start counts between 11am and 12pm, leading to mid-afternoon result declarations at around 4pm, of course these could be later if any issued arise.

We’ll be covering all the results on a live updating article on 6 May as well as other articles after declarations.
