The incident was reported around 8 pm this evening 20 April.
A burst pipe in the Wellin Lane area of Edwalton near the Londis shop has caused the loss of water for nearby homes.
Residents in Melton Road and Wellin Lane reported loss of water.
Severn Trent Water expect the repair to be complete by approximately 1 am in the morning of Tuesday 21 April.
The road will require resurfacing at some point – more soon.
