Nottinghamshire Police has launched an appeal for information following a stabbing in Hyson Green.
Police were called to Gregory Boulevard at 6.51pm on Monday (September 21), following reports that a man had been stabbed.
On arrival, officers found a man with a visible wound and immediately began administering first aid.
The man was conveyed to hospital by ambulance colleagues, and his injuries were described as not life-threatening or life-changing.
Witnesses reported that the attack took place on Boulevard Gardens, off Radford Road, with a cordon remaining in place around the park today.
Officers have now launched an appeal for information relating to the stabbing, asking anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage, or any other information, to get in touch.
Detective Chief Inspector Claire Gould, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We are treating this incident very seriously, and our work to understand the circumstances surrounding it is ongoing.
“Officers remain in the area to provide reassurance to the public, and we are exploring multiple lines of enquiry.
“We are appealing for anyone who saw anything, or anyone who has footage relating to the incident, to get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
