East Midlands Airport has issued advice to passengers ahead of forecast snow overnight on Thursday into Friday morning.
A spokesperson for the airport said:
‘Wintry weather is forecast this evening and overnight.
‘Our teams are ready to minimise any disruption it may cause.
‘If you are travelling to the airport over the next few days, please take care and prepare in advance.
‘Tips for safe travel:
‘Rail and bus services may face delays or cancellations. Plan your journey accordingly. Wintry weather can create icy roads. Check updates from Highways England or local traffic services before you set out.’
